大型公司3D printers are adding small versions to their lineup; and those with small 3D printers are adding larger models. German RepRap has developed a new 3D printer for its commercial customers. The new printer for large models will be presented at the upcoming Euromold fair in Frankfurt/M., Germany. This printer is part of the professional series and boasts a printing volume of 1000 x 800 x 600 mm. The technology is based on fused filament fabrication (FFF) for producing prototypes, fully functional, and demonstration models as well as prints for molding.

Tailored to the requirements of professional customers, the new 3D printer features multi-extruder-technology, intelligent filament management and an intuitive user interface. With a layer height of 0.5 mm even large models can be printed very quickly in draft mode.
The new professional series has been developed from scratch and is not based on existing machines. With this new 3D printer German RepRap proves its competence as a supplier of industrial-strength 3D printers for the commercial market. Furthermore they are one of a handful of manufacturers of 3D printers that cover a large range of 3D printers for professional as well as private customers.
