FEA Tool for Moving from Concept to Product

ByLaura Carrabine|September 10, 2010

Engineering Technology Associates, Inc. (ETA) launched its new enterprise product development software called the Inventium Suite. The first product to be released is PreSym, an advanced pre- and post-processor finite element (FE) modeling toolset. Other Inventium products will be released in the near future.

PreSym是继任者埃塔VPG / PrePost和FEMB products. PreSym draws on the experience of these legacy tools and combines this knowledge with 150 new or improved features. This solver-neutral product is aligned with the Inventium architecture.

The Inventium suite of software includes
an advanced pre- and post-processor finite element toolkit.

The company reports that the software has an easy to use interface with drop down menus and toolbars, increased graphics speed, and detailed graphics capabilities. Other features include the ability to open and operate on multiple models, and review simulation results along with model data and a scripting interface. This allows you to capture, replay and modify processes, and interact with third party applications.

The software suite includes some new tools while retaining ETA’s legacy software products called VPG and DYNAFORM. New menus or toolbars may be created to meet your specific needs, while pre-configured menus can be modified as desired. For example, you can simplify the interface by deactivating all user toolbars and menus for functions not in use. You can also create a customized toolbar containing favorites or frequently assessed functions.
