Electro-pneumatic pressure regulator for pneumatic valve manifold

AVENTICS-AV-Manifold-E-P The latest enhancement to AVENTICS AV (Advanced Valve) series pneumatic directional control valves is the AV-EP, an electro-pneumatic pressure regulator that can be integrated into the valve manifold. This lets the user control proportional flow with the same digital communication as used with the directional control valves. The AV-EP can control either an external device or control valves downstream in the manifold. Common applications for E/P’s include pressing, tension control and weld tip control.

The AV03-EP offers flow up to 0.44 Cv, and the AV05-EP offers flow up to 0.65 Cv. For application flexibility, they are offered in two subbase versions: single pressure regulation and pressure zone regulation. Two types of control are offered, analog for multi-pin manifolds, and serial control. Two types of functions are also available: a Classic version with hysteresis of approximately 2.9 psi, and a Smart version with hysteresis of approximately 0.7 psi. The regulating ranges are 0 to 90psi and 0 to 145 psi, and the operating voltage is 24 VDC.

The analog control version E/P features an attractive display including status LEDs and control buttons. Units can be displayed in bar, kPa or psi. The set-point for the analog control version can be 0 to 10 VDC, 0 to 20 mA, or 4 to 20 mA. The serial control version offers 14 bit resolution, utilizing 2 bytes for the set-point and for the actual feedback values.

E / P超小型和模块集成lightweight AV series valves. AV03 (up to 0.3 Cv) and AV05 (up to 0.7 Cv) valves can be combined on the same manifold. Both valve versions feature a 12.5mm valve width, and with the high flow in a small package, they enable more energy efficiency than other valve manifolds of the same flow. AV valves can control up to 24 coils with 25-pin D-sub connection, up to 40 coils with 44-pin D-sub connection, and up to 128 coils with Fieldbus connection. The AVENTICS online configurator allows a user to completely customize a valve manifold system and get a part number and CAD drawing immediately.
