Wireless Sensing for Data Centers

With this approach, wireless temperature, humidity, and airflow sensors are embedded in or externally deployed on server towers. Optional ambient airflow energy harvesting eliminates battery maintenance and supports an autonomous network up to thousands of wireless server sensor nodes. With the company’s SensorCloud analytics and customizable alerts, operators can easily track power-usage effectiveness, humidification requirements, cooling performance, and identify hotspots.
