44 new STEGO part numbers have been added to AutomationDirect’s enclosure thermal management and enclosure lighting product lines. New STEGO enclosure products include a “Smart Sensor” temperature/humidity sensor, a unique flat form factor heater, enclosure door switches, and new Varioline series LED enclosure lights.
The compact Smart Sensor ($126.00) electronically measures temperature and humidity and converts the measured data into a standardized analog 4 to 20 mA signal. The converted value signals can be utilized or further processed by a control monitoring unit (such as PLC control).
The flat, 8mm-thin heater (from $92.00) provides evenly distributed temperature within enclosures with electric or electronic components. The ultra-thin design makes it particularly suitable for high-density applications in which standard enclosure heaters are often too big. Enclosure door switches ($30.00) can be used to switch a light ON when opening a door, or to activate a fan when closing a door.
