Raytheon Co. was awarded a $128 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for mobile sensors by the U.S. Air Force.
Under the terms of the contract, Raytheon will operate and maintain the Cobra King radar aboard the U.S. Naval Ship Howard O. Lorenzen (TAGM-25) and the Gray Star radar aboard the USNS Invincible (TAGM-24).
The two shipboard radars are forward-deployed supporting U.S. Pacific Command and U.S. Central Command. Raytheon personnel will deploy aboard the ships to operate and maintain the radar and subsystems, as well as provide engineering and logistics support.
