“For the past 40 years we have been manufacturing custom couplings, u-joints and machined spring prototypes and the lead times have been consistently the same in this competitive marketplace.” Said Leroy McChesney, Helical Products General Manager. “We created our new prototype cell to allow customers to evaluate the unique problem solving capability of the HELI-CAL Flexure in a time frame previously not available, enabling them to go to the market place sooner.”
Customers from virtually any industry are now able to develop their own design or work with a Helical applications engineer to create their custom prototype and get it to the market faster than ever. Now with equipment and staff whose sole purpose is prototype manufacturing, the lead time for complex parts has been reduced significantly on most new designs.
