Motion Industries hires new corporate account VP

Mark Stoneburner sm1.web Motion Industries, distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, recently brought on Mark Stoneburner as Corporate Account Vice President—Industry Segments.

In his new role, Stoneburner will help expand the company’s existing Industry Segment focus to leverage identified areas of growth opportunity.

A graduate of Xavier University (MBA) and Ohio University (BSBA), Stoneburner brings with him a wealth of experience in a 33-plus year career focused primarily in distribution. He has worked in various branch sales and sales management roles, and has held positions in product management, marketing, and systems integration (ERP). He most recently led sales and marketing efforts on the manufacturing side of the business.

Mark Thompson, SVP Corporate Accounts, said, “We are pleased to have someone as uniquely qualified as Mark, who will lead our efforts to focus on existing industry segments offering substantial capacity for growth as well as new and emerging industry segments that provide significant promise for long-term future growth. Mark brings valuable experience and expertise to this new position in Corporate Accounts, from a variety of previous sales and marketing management positions in both distribution and manufacturing.”
