TheHE-Seriesfrom Mechan Controls are a family of coded, magnetic, non-contact safety switches that can be used as a stand-alone safety switch or combined with a SCU1 safety relay for a CAT4 SIL3 PL-e approved safety system.
TheHE-Seriesis designed to combine the ease of use and maintenance of a simple magnetic safety switch along with the improved
security and performance levels of an electronic safety switch.
These fully encapsulated, solid state switches have a coded magnetic input ensuring the switch cannot be overridden by a simple magnet / piece of metal / screwdriver etc. and the 8–10 mm switching distance makes these switches easy to install, tolerant to misalignment as well as providing a long and trouble-free operating life.
The HE series of safety switches from Mechan Controls are available in either ABS or 316 grade Stainless steel housings. The robust 316 grade stainless steel switches, with a protection rating of IP67 or IP69K, are ideally suited for harsh environments or wash down areas making them the optimal choice for the food processing, filling or packaging industries. These switches also have LED guard status indication, are shock and vibration proof and can also withstand the most extreme conditions with operating temperatures rated down to -30° C.
