Harold G. Schaevitz Industries LLC (HGSI) has expanded its sensor products by offering the LPPS-36B Linear Potentiometer position sensor with Rod Ends.

LPPS-36B series Linear Potentiometer Position Sensor with Rod End Joints are used to monitor and track the linear motion or position of a target from 350 mm up to 700 mm. These ruggedized sensors are suitable for use in industrial and laboratory applications and consist of a resistive potentiometric element made from conductive plastic. With swivel rod ends that allow for self-alignment and easy mounting, the swivel rod can be rotated up to 360°.

The LPPS-36B series sensor is made from industrial duty materials for resistance to dust, temperature, shock and vibration and is engineered for use in a wide range of gauging applications including automotive R&D, motorsports, industrial, motion control, medical, military and aerospace.

Features:

  • Ruggedized Linear Potentiometer
  • Stroke lengths available from 350 mm up to 700 mm (14 to 28 in.)
  • Rod End Joints for simple mounting
  • 1.4 in. (36 mm) OD housing
