For more than 20 years, Lauren Manufacturing has supplied several parts to Caterpillar, such as backer seals, engine and transmission seals, and window and door seals. Lauren earned the bronze award in 2011, the silver in 2012, and skipped the gold in 2013 to receive the platinum award. Only a small portion of Caterpillar’s highest-performing suppliers have managed to meet the platinum-level requirements for process capability, quality, continuous improvement and delivery.
