V-rings are available in a large range of sizes, 3 mm to 2,000 mm, in types VA, VS and VL. V-rings are mainly used to protect parts from dust and debris. Sealing is produced by the contact between the lip and the surface. V-rings may be ordered in nitrile-butadiene-rubber (NBR) or fluorocarbon-rubber (Viton).
