Internet of Things On the Rise in Real Estate

Realtors and marketers are leveraging the Internet of Things in particularly useful ways. Smart sensors can make building management easier, for example, telling managers whether a device such as a fan is working. On the marketing side of things, nearly six out of 10 information technology companies in the United States are using machine data to target ads to customers’ preferences.

The east Indian states are ripe for companies operating in the Internet of Things space, with the potential for $750 million to $900 million in revenue. Those states, already known for their academic institutions, have the potential to evolve into centers for information technology and information technology enabled services.
