Helios Gear Products has announced the 2019 Regional Gear School that will be co-presented by the Kapp Niles company. This school will be held September 25, 2019 in Charlotte, N.C.
For more than 30 years, Helios Gear Products has provided quality education to the gear industry. As part of its corporate mission, Helios believes that Gear CE (continuing education) is a critical component for maintaining the gear manufacturing industry and customers’ competitive edge.
During the company’s history, more than 1,000 students have attended its various gear manufacturing educational programs. Helios is a member of the American Gear Manufacturers Association and has held leadership positions in many of the AGMA committees including the Education Council.
This September 25th seminar will be a one-day introduction to parallel axis gear manufacturing and will include:

- Gear shaping
- Gear grinding – generative
- Gear grinding – form
- Gear inspection and AGMA standards
