Molex will showcase its end-to-end CES Structured Cabling and CoreSync Integrated Solutions at the 2019 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition in booth 801. Held from January 20–24 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, the annual show is for cabling design and installation professionals in the information and communications technology (ICT) community.

molex_logo “As organizations seek ways to transform their networks for the decade ahead, Molex is uniquely able to respond with a future-ready infrastructure. Thanks to our network of highly skilled Certified Installers, we play a critical role in delivering smart buildings, high-performance data centers, 5G and Industry 4.0. We are pleased to show BICSI attendees the Molex end-to-end solution, from our globally recognized shuttered work area jacks to our in-building and campus-wide jetted fiber products,” said Jon Norton, Molex CES President and General Manager.

A pioneer of structured cabling and high-speed data technologies, Molex manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of copper and fiber structured cabling solutions for transmitting voice, data and video signals. Bringing more than three decades of experience in designing and manufacturing enterprise network solutions for some of the largest organizations in the world, the Molex booth will also feature robust and scalable CES Structured Cabling solutions designed to enable networking infrastructure with maximum performance, efficiency and reliability. CES offerings deliver power-saving IP connectivity to native digital devices and legacy systems with optimization for high-speed data transmission and premise edge networking.

High-speed CES Structured Cabling solutions support all leading equipment vendors and networking protocols and are backed by a 25-year warranty when installed as a certified system by a certified Molex installer. Molex services include design, prototyping, manufacturing and infrastructure deployment for consistent quality and adherence to stringent specifications and standards in data centers, healthcare, educational, manufacturing, and industrial applications.

Supporting IP convergence, Molex technologies for Power over Ethernet (PoE) distributed networks deliver electrical power and signals over standard low-voltage category cabling to various endpoints, including LED lighting, HVAC controls, cameras, and other local networked devices. In booth 801, Molex will show resilient PoE distributed networks offering high availability for power, uninterrupted service and lower operating expenses. Fully-integrated technologies incorporate advanced controls and IP-based connectivity across systems to reduce energy use and streamline operations.

“Our solution capabilities enable architects, engineering consultants, building owners and managers to optimize building functionality and maintenance to benefit occupant experiences. We help create the next-generation of integrated building systems for customers to seamlessly meet our customers’ interests to have proven, open and industry-standard solutions,” said Mike Picini, vice president, Molex CoreSync Solutions.

Integrating field-proven cabling and wireless technologies, the low-voltage Molex CoreSync Platform delivers a unique, cost-effective infrastructure utilizing granularly distributed sensors to drive real-time energy usage reporting, sensor-based occupancy reporting, light status and environmental monitoring. The ability to migrate lighting and other synergistically controlled building functions to an IP-based infrastructure creates business value and an asset for building developers and enterprises. In addition, Molex offers a 10-year warranty on CoreSync systems, when designed and installed by a Molex certified company.
