Device Technologies, Inc. (DTi) has announced the release of its Fast-Drop Rack Mount Fiber Array Panel. The product, which DTi will unveil at the annual OFC conference in Los Angeles on March 24 – 27, features an efficient, low-cost solution for connectivity applications, related fiber containment and “instant organization.”
Constructed with an aluminum bracket and DTi’s snap-on Fast-Drop fiber radius control modules (RCMs), the Rack Mount Array Panel offers two module sizes and three style options. The panel’s 19” standard rack universal mounting holes and ‘1U’ high standard screw mount bezel or special order snap on rivets enables fast, simple installation and flexible orientation. The unit provides quick fiber management control with built in ‘hook and loop’ straps and protects fiber from sharp radius bends and data transmission failure. The panel is RoHS and Telcordia (GR63 CORE) compliant and is certified as a UL94 V-0 rated module.
“This panel is one of the most adaptable, versatile products in the space,” said Steven O’Loughlin, DTi Technical Sales Application Engineer. “The snap-on module that comes with the panel allows for three standard configurations that can be instantly modified to suit the customer’s diverse and dynamic fiber management needs.”
DTi will be showcasing the product at its booth #2553 at OFC located in the Los Angeles Convention Center. OFC is the largest global conference and exposition for optical communications and networking professionals and the major fiber event in North America. DTi has been serving the Telcom market and others for the past 30 years providing Fast-Drop Fiber Bend Radius Control Modules, along with its legacy Spring-Fast® Wire Protection Grommet Edging.
