Design World Magazine and online networkm.fbvote.comtoday announced the winners of the 2009 Leadership in Engineering program. Leadership in Engineering is an industry recognition program to acknowledge engineering leadership across several disciplines. Winners were chosen by Design World online users via a registration based online voting system.
Design World recognizes the following companies by category – Advanced Materials: DaPro Rubber, Electrical & Electronics: c3controls, Digital Manufacturing: Protolabs, Fastening & Joining: Bal Seal Engineering, Fluid Power: Norgren, Mechanical: Arrow Gear Company, Motion Control: PBC Linear, Test & Measurement: Omega Engineering, Switches & Sensors: MTS Sensors, and Software: COMSOL.
All participating companies are profiled online atm.fbvote.com/leadership. Design World experienced a 130% increase in voting based on year-over-year voting totals. The voting is enabled online and accuracy is ensured by a registration-based system.
The 2010 Leadership program begins in February 2010 in conjunction with the entire WTWH Media online network and engineering social media site, www.EngineeringExchange.com supporting and encouraging online participation.
