BimbaManufacturing announced its selection as a best practice lean tour site during the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) Conference, the premier conference for enterprise excellence. On Thursday, October 18th , Jim Umland, Bimba Director of Operations, will be giving participants an exclusive look into Bimba’s processes.
Tour attendees will see how Bimba employs value-stream mapping, daily 5S implementation, standard work, “pull” methods, visual management boards and employee ownership/engagement.
